BEDP is a school year program, open from the first day of school in September until the close of school in June, following the calendar of the Belmont Public Schools. Click here for a copy of the BPS calendar for 2025-26. Click here for a copy of the BPS calendar for 2026-27.
BEDP runs both programs all days that school is open with the exception of the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. On that day, Morning Care is open, but the After School Program is closed.
BEDP is open on early release days, except as noted above. On early release days the children arrive before lunch. Dismissal time is the same as usual.
Snow days or other unscheduled school closings: BEDP is closed whenever the BPS announces a snow day or other unscheduled closing. Snow days are made up in June, and BEDP will be open for the make-up days.
